La casa siempre ha sido una obsesión en mi trabajo. El regreso a la habitación, a la seguridad del interior, a la construcción del ser a partir de su recogimiento. Mi propia búsqueda me ha llevado por diversos caminos en cuanto al habitar los espacios, en cómo me van conformando mientras los transito. La intención de este trabajo es recuperar el habitar que construye el ser humano y dejarlo de ver como un simple comportamiento. Intenta de alguna manera unir el construir con el habitar. Para esto parto de fotografías de madrigueras, como una forma básica del refugio, del acogerse, donde se plantea la morada como una tierra de asilo y como una constante constructora del yo.
The house has always been central to my work—an obsession. It symbolizes a return to the bedroom, habitation, safety, and interiority, where the Self is constructed through retreat. My exploration has led me through various paths of inhabiting spaces and how they mold around me as I pass through.
This piece endeavors to elevate Dwelling beyond mere behavior, viewing it as pivotal in shaping human existence. It seeks to unify the idea of self-construction with the essence of Dwelling. To explore this, I begin with photographs of burrows—fundamental refuges suggesting Dwelling as a sanctuary and constant presence in the construction of the Self.
